This is a beautiful, well-made, and substantial piece.  The method of fixing it to the wall is amazing.  It holds incredibly firmly, even when I test it with force.  Yet, another test I did (on the smooth smooth porcelain tile which I used in my shower) was to let a significant portion of the adhesive set for a week then tried to remove it.  I used a razor blade.  It came off in less than a second with zero residue,  funny, I really didn’t believe the advertising.  That’s why I tested it.  Now you may not believe me.  Do your own test.  It IS A GREAT PRODUCT.  after testing, I bought a couple mote.

I was a little hesitant to purchase a bathroom hooks that was secured by glue only; however, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hooks and the strength of the glue.  What a great product for anyone who has a bathroom with tile walls.

Terrific Product!  Even a septuagenarian with 2 left hands can install this elegant robe hook, that would look in place at the Hilton Hotel.  No drilling required, no ruined or cracked tiles,  and it's removable!!!  What more can you ask for?
