adhesive did not hold May 30, 2022 Reviewer: Michael Lilienthal from Chattanooga, TN United States   I have used the product before and was very satisfied with it.  I installed the product as I did the first time.  I even allowed 48 hours for the adhesive to bond for this grab bar and the 24" grab bar.  After completing the installation, I pulled on each bar.  The 18" held when I pulled on it the 24" grab bar did not. Awesome Product March 16, 2022 Reviewer: Frank from San Diego, CA United States   The bars are well built, but I wish the outer flanges fit more flush to the tile wall. They're not really bad, I'm just being nit-picky on an otherwise stellar product. The bars are well made, and the installation instructions were simple and clear. I do wish they mentioned grout lines somewhere, whether to avoid them or if it doesn't matter. The bars are installed and work great. Was this review helpful to you?

So Glad I Did February 19, 2022 Reviewer: John Lipman from NYC, NY United States   NDR customer service is excellent.  They recommended  horizontal over vertical placement on the shower wall.  Also suggested placement of bar at elbow-height.  Two excellent suggestions.  I had trouble getting  the covers to slid over the attachments.  I used a folded dish towel and a hammer to tap them into place.  The brushed stainless bar is fine:  not at all slippery when wet.  I let the adhesive cure for 24+ hours - I had some trouble getting the excess off from the larger vent hole, I think the adhesive had not cured fully. Proper cleaning of the tiles before hand has resulted in an extremely secure  bar placement.  The bar gives a wonderful sense of security and comfort when showering. I recommend that if you're going to install a grab bar you look into getting the floor of your tub or shower covered  with an anti-slip covering.   Overall :  easy installation;  customer service is excellent (phone calls/emails are returned promptly)  and I feel wonderfully safe in the shower. FAQ / instructions and Customer service fail December 16, 2021 Reviewer: Stephen Tanenbaum from WALNUT CREEK, CA United States   When things started to go wrong as I installed my bath grab bar I realized: * I should have been warned to install ONLY during customer service hours * FAQ's did NOT list my issue which was very basic problem *  Included instructions did NOT offer trouble shooting and did NOT discuss my issue of adhesive flowing outside of the plate and the plate 'moving' Was this review helpful to you?
