After discussing with the vendor the original extremely high shipping cost that the website order tosses in, it was reduced but still seemed high at $42 (USD) for a tiny little bag of parts. it was sent under warranty so no cost to me except for shipping. I was then charged duty on it for more than the shipping cost, on a "free" item, so I'm rather annoyed.

I was sceptical at first. But after 4 installations, I'm hooked. These grab bars stay right where you put them.
Easy to install and great looking. This has really made the tub and shower areas safer.
One suggestion is that the hole you're supposed to squeeze the adhesive into, should be larger to accept the tip of the squeeze tube. That would make installation even easier. As it is now, if you don't line up the tube correctly into the hole, it doesn't all get in as it's supposed to.

4 of 5 The longer grab bars did not work June 18, 2026

I ordered the longer grab bar (36) to install in my tub/shower and the mountings slipped both times I tried to apply the glue. The second time I tried to apply the glue the glue tube did not fit in the hole properly and glue kept oozing out.  Consequently the mounting tab slipped out of alignment.  I am hopeful the shorter 18" bar will work better.  Other than this problem with  the mounts everything seems to work well.

First installed about 4 years ago and worked well until recently when the adhesive connection failed.  Ordered new parts and have since reinstalled.  Installed on porcelin bath tile that is not completely flat so that may be a contributing factor.  Have another one that was installed at same time on flat tile that is just fine.
