Forget drilling...this is perfect! September 10, 2021 Reviewer: Edward Alfaro from Cave Creek, AZ United States   I've bought two over the last year for my showers. Different homes, but i attached both to tile and they are solid as a rock. I took care in cleaning the tile with household cleaner AND THEN I used a bit of acetone to really get the tile clean. I think this part is key for a solid attachment. Make sure when pressing the circular pads onto the wall and before adding the adhesive tube contents, PRESS HARD on them so no adhesive leaks through the circular adhesive tape. I've had that happen just once but the supplier gives you 3 tubes of adhesive so there is plenty for both circular pads in case that happens. If it does, just press on the pads and keep filling with the tube adhesive. I'd give it more that 24 hours to cure...maybe 36 before putting weight on it. Make sure you don't put the pads over a grout line. The bar probably works best over larger tiles as there is more mastic holding a larger tile which in turn, can take more weight. Don't trust this company October 10, 2020 Reviewer: Matt S. from San Jose, CA   This is the 5th time now that this company has taken down my poor review.  They take down negative reviews.  That's why there are only 8 reviews since 2014. Mixed review July 31, 2020 Reviewer: Larry from Reno Nevada   I purchased 3 bars as not to drill through quartz as It could crack. Followed the directions exactly and  2 of the three bars seem very solid and sturdy, although the one seems to be slightly loose ??, assuming the adhesive for some reason did not adhere properly. I just ordered another pair of mounting disks/ hardware. I also asked for the acetone pads which were missing from all assist bars. Other than that they look great and I hope they hold up over time, we will see. Was this review helpful to you?

Mixed results April 21, 2020 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Southeast MI United States   I purchased this model for its low profile compared to standard bars.  I iuse it as a vertically mounted grab bar to aid ingress/egress for a shower and a tub and did not intend for someone to use it as a support to lean their weight on. This was installed on a tiled surface (4" x 4" and 12" x 12" tiles).  The bar dimensions meant they did not lay on grout lines. The 1st bar was installed on 4" x 4" tiles and was very secure - I held on and leaned back to try it out.  The 2nd bar was installed on a 12" x 12" tile.  However when I leaned back with part of my weight, the bottom adhesive mount broke off.  Inspection showed that the adhesive completely filled the base per directions.  I will order new mounting hardware ($39) and try again. While relatively pricey vs traditional bars, the ease of installation is a big plus. Note that the adhesives/cleaners are added separately in the shipping box.  In one case they were missing, but customer service quickly shipped them out. Was this review helpful to you?

February 4, 2020 Reviewer: Donald Wickert from Middle Village Queens, NY United States   I was a bit apprehensive at first, but after watching YouTube videos, I took a chance. This product is a tribute to German engineering and incredibly easy to install. It’s as strong as drill mounted bars I have used, and beautifully made. Don’t hesitate to give it a try, you won’t regret it.  Also, make certain you align the mounting plates and carefully peel the adhesive backing. Once it makes contact with the tile it can’t be moved. Grab bar purchase October 24, 2018 Reviewer: David Mathis from Portland, OR United States   We ordered a grab bar after seeing one in our neighbors house, and it is the perfect accessory for our guest bath tub/shower.  Easy to install but strongest bar we've seen on the market.
