We installed some of these as towel hooks and wash cloth hooks in on the glass walls of our shower when we remodeled the bath a few years ago and found ourselves at the end going, "uh what about towels?" Then, earlier this year, we discovered a shower pan leak which precipitated replacing our shower glass as well as the hook mounts. It's a bit tricky putting a hook on both sides of the glass because the thickness of the glass gives the illusion that the mounts are aligned but then you go around to the other side and they're way off. My pro tip is to only peel back a little of the protective paper covering the adhesive circle and get it placed right (including testing the hook on it) and also get a ladder if it's above eye level and look at it straight on, not from an angle. The one on the tile shower wall is still going strong after 4+ years and I know these replacements will, too.
