Proper surface preparation is essential to a successful installation. All wax, sealant, grease, scaling, chemicals and debris must be removed prior to beginning the installation. Specific surface preparation instructions are included with the mounting hardware. Surface must be completely dry prior to installation. Only the supplied alcohol wipe or acetone can be used to clean the surface before initial attachment, no household chemicals.
